In 2004, Novatium solutions evolved from the technology incubation center at IIT Madras. Founded on the vision to provide “Computing for the next billion users” Novatium went on to create –The Nova NetPC, a solution that made computing simple and affordable by using indigenous technology. The NetPC retailed at $100, disrupted the PC market by offering computing in a way that was simple & economical, with out compromising on user experience. Today, Novatium has a renewed vision of “building a context based computing experience for all”. With it’s Mobile device management platform – MCaaS and context based education solution – Edugrid, Novatium is on it’s way to realize this vision.
Novatium has worked with a number of State Governments to deploy efficient managed computing solutions on Tablets, Laptops, Desktop PCs and Mobiles. These projects included deployments of over 200,000 computing devices across the states of Chhattisgarh, Assam, Orissa and Tamil Nadu. The company’s deployments included collaborative partners such as BSNL and other initiatives with MTNL, AirTel. Novatium also worked closely with Ericsson’s ‘Digital India’ initiative and has experience in other developing markets such as Mauritius with clients such as telecom powerhouse Mauritius Telecom.

To reach the above mentioned vision, we are focusing on two aspects. These are the two adjectives, superior and convenient, in the above mentioned Mission. We are creating a solution that is predictive and suggestive and hence enables user to discover new areas and activities that interest him/her. It is proactive and thus ensures that the user can be kept away from the dangers that is usually associated with many of the existing computing solutions.
It is flexible to ensure that each user gets and tunes the solution to fit in with his/her needs. It is a secure solution with consideration given to the fact that different users have different level of security. Thus it is superior from many aspects. The convenience comes from the fact that most of the above mentioned aspects and many of the other basic aspects happen automatically and does not require human intervention, neither the end user nor the administrators.

Accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales plans, and the Business Development section regarding special projects and government affairs. Facilitate the growth of the business by working primarily with the sales and establishing strategic plans for the future development of the business as well as developing the pipeline of an upcoming business prospect. Analyse and monitor critical government trends, proposed legislation and Regulations, and industry issues to provide a consistent and favorable business environment. Analyse and recommend company positions on various state legislative and regulatory proposals, other administrative actions, and emerging issues. Coordinate feasibility studies on proposed products in the assigned project; coordinate new product development within the assigned project. Protect the organization’s values by keeping information confidential; fostering high integrity; guarding correct business ethics.
Mr. Ritesh Kant
Director
Ritesh is a senior business and technology leader. Understanding business imperatives is his forte, and catering to these business imperatives is what keeps him invigorated over the 18 years or so that he counts as his work experience. Ritesh has worked at large and small organizations and in both technology services and technology products industries. Ritesh revels in building teams. He has built and led successful cross-functional and global teams, very often from scratch This is Ritesh’s second avatar with us. He is an engineer by undergrad degree and approach and a business management professional by postgrad degree and thinking.
Mr. Vijaykumar S
Director
Vijay is responsible for Novatium technology strategy and plays a key role in leading the team by driving new initiatives.Vijay joined in novatium 2011 and hold the various role starting from project lead to head technology.Passionate about solving complex problems with technology, building products that change the way we operate, Work well with people and lead by example.
Prior to Novatium, vijay has worked Samsung and Motorola as well. He holds a B Tech in Electronics engineering at Madras Institute Of Technology, Anna University.

Under his leadership, Novatium has taken giant strides from being a start-up technology product company in Chennai to being an established technology service company catering to homes and enterprises nation-wide. Novatium has tied up with MTNL to provide home computing services in Delhi and is also looking at expanding its business to other cities as well. Alok Singh has been an integral part of Novatium since its early days of inception and has been instrumental in broadening the horizons of Novatium’s innovations and fostering enduring corporate relationships.
Armed with 21 years of accomplished experience in service marketing and service delivery, solutions designing, marketing, manufacturing & consulting, Alok Singh has also played a crucial role in establishing two successful start-up companies. Prior to assuming his current role, he was the CEO of Cummins Auto Services Ltd for five years. His previous stints also include Satyam Computer Services Ltd, Tata Cummins Ltd and Tata Motors.

Kumar G V (‘GV’), is a senior investment professional with over 20 years of rich experience in the Venture Capital & Private Equity (VC/PE) industry and over a decade in leadership/Partner positions. In his last role GV was Executive Director – Investments with TVS Capital Funds, Chennai. Prior to that, he had an eight year stint as Partner with Aureos Capital, a global mid-market Private Equity Fund. His early career includes nine years with ICICI Ventures, one of India’s foremost private equity fund houses. In his roles as a fund manager during this period, he was responsible for all aspects of investment life cycle namely deal origination, execution, active portfolio management through board/observer positions and profitable exits across diverse sectors such as Healthcare, Specialized Engineering, Logistics, Consumer and Financials. GV brings in well-honed skills in strategic value nurturing and board level interventions in the small/medium businesses along with strong relationships developed over years within the growth industry ecosystem of SMEs, private equity investors, legal firms, and Investment bankers in India. GV holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IIM Bangalore and is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT Suratkal. Pre MBA, he worked with Tata Motors as the line engineer.
